This is directed more toward people who are new to mobile advertising. If you are interested in mobile advertising, you will likely come across Admob.com. Google bought this company awhile back for a good part of $1 billion.
Last month I decided to give it a test run. I set my daily budget and spread evenly. I added $50 to my account (minimum amount) and let some ads run. Even though I had my spend to spread evenly throughout the day, the $50 was spent in less than 1 minute of my ads being accepted. This wasn’t expected, but I’ve since learned that it is very common in mobile advertising to have low ad spend spent very quickly even if you have it spread evenly across the board.
Just be careful, and learn from my mistake. There is huge potential to succeed in mobile advertising, but it is also very easy to lose a lot money very fast.
