John Chow is holding a contest to review a website.  I am including the review in this blog post.

The site I am reviewing is a radio streaming site called OnlineRadioStations.com.  It is a site where you can listen to tons of different radio stations right over your computer at home.  It is quite an awesome and resourceful website!

My favorite station would have to be the Oldies Hits from KIOA 93.3 (Des Moines, Iowa).

The thing I dislike is when you click on a station, you have to wait 30 seconds or so for a video ad to run before you can listen.  This will definitely kill first-time visitors, because they don’t want to wait and they don’t know if the station will eventually begin to run.  I’d highly suggest removing the video ad, and work on integrating other means of advertising other than the video ad wait to visitors of each station.
