I was reading on Jensense today about this. The Yahoo Publishers Network is now offering payments via Paypal, along with the past system of direct deposit and check. The cutoff to receive a payment via Paypal is only $50.00, while for other payment options the cutoff is $100. As Jen mentioned, this will be a big deal when YPN goes international. Maybe this is Yahoo’s way of pre-expanding for the international YPN grand opening.
Another interesting thing I thought of was, think about the profit Paypal will make off of this. eBay already takes massive cuts and makes a ton of money, and now with YPN growing and using it, it will be interesting to see what happens with that.
